Lord Smearmore who appears first in the novel Darkhome is one of the most powerful Lords in Darkhome in eastern Amaria. He through a series of plans and actions forces Don, Hutch, Pat, Tena and Freya to go try to find the Child Soul Gem. He send them to The Desolate Isle to do this.
